Inna Polkhovska
Member of the Supervisory Board | Lead on Inclusion, Gender Equality and Non-Discrimination
PhD in Law, Associate Professor, expert in constitutional law, human rights and gender equality. Author of over 50 academic publications, including in peer-reviewed journals indexed in Scopus and Web of Science. Co-author of a university textbook on constitutional jurisdiction approved by the Ministry of Education of Ukraine.
She has completed international academic training in Germany and serves on the editorial board of a legal journal.
Her expertise focuses on human rights protection, promotion of gender equality, non-discrimination, and the development of democratic governance and rule of law in Ukraine.
Nataliia Prodan
Member of the Supervisory Board | Lead on Accounting Policy and Financial Reporting
Risk manager, certified specialist in accounting, audit, financial control and reporting, and risk management. She has over 20 years of professional experience in the non-governmental financial sector and the National Bank of Ukraine, including work with international donor-funded projects and humanitarian organisations.
Expert in risk management, internal control, audit, and oversight of financial and non-financial reporting in line with international donor requirements (USAID, UNDP, EC), as well as the implementation of ESG principles in financial institutions. She specialises in the development of accounting policies, project budget management, financial transparency of non-profit organisations, and risk management strategies.
Oleh Polishchuk
Member of the Supervisory Board | Lead on Audit and Ethics
Expert in public administration and anti-corruption compliance with over 25 years of professional experience. Former Head of the Anti-Corruption Centre at the state-owned enterprise “Energoatom” (2014–2024), where he implemented ISO 37001, developed compliance policies and internal audit systems.
He holds master’s degrees in Public Administration, Law and an MBA. ISO 37001 certified auditor.
In 2022–2023, he served in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Recipient of national professional awards for contributions to compliance and ethics.
Roman Hekaliuk
Director of the Charity Fund “Demining of Ukraine”
Expert in public governance, anti-corruption policy, compliance and humanitarian demining. Holds master’s degrees in public administration, law, and finance. Combat veteran and certified deminer.
Trained by GICHD (Geneva) and HALO Trust. ISO 37001 Lead Implementer certified.
Former consultant for USAID and OECD, with prior service at the Ministry of Energy and in national anti-corruption institutions.
His work focuses on operational safety, risk management, compliance frameworks, and the recovery of mine-affected communities.
Yan Artyukhov Deputy Director, Head of the Mechanised Demining Division.
Yan Artyukhov holds degrees from the Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University and the Kharkiv Institute of Public Administration under the President of Ukraine.
He has extensive experience in the field of mechanised humanitarian demining, particularly in the organisation of operations, coordination of machinery, and effective implementation on the ground. In addition to his legal and managerial education, he possesses professional expertise in environmental matters, including the protection of flora and fauna during demining activities. He ensures that the Foundation’s operations are carried out with environmental sustainability in mind and in full compliance with international standards.
Oleksandr Huk
Commander of the Humanitarian Demining Unit
Legal specialist with over 20 years of experience in legal support for public institutions and private sector enterprises in the energy, pharmaceutical, and forestry industries.
Since 2023, he has served as a humanitarian deminer and team commander within the Fund.
Combines deep legal expertise with hands-on experience in mine action, ensuring compliance and operational discipline in field units.
Ivan Kondrushenko
Head of Non-Technical Survey and Information Management
Educator, certified deminer (EOD 1–2) and instructor in Explosive Ordnance Risk Education (EORE). Holds academic qualifications in physics, mathematics and IT, and has taught in Ukrainian secondary education.
Expert in remote sensing and GIS technologies.
Since 2023, he has led the Fund’s Non-Technical Survey (NTS) and Information Management activities, overseeing field assessments, beneficiary engagement, and data analysis to support mine action planning and prioritisation.
The Demining of Ukraine Charitable Foundation was established in 2023 by a community of Ukrainian volunteers in response to the growing humanitarian needs of civilians affected by the full-scale war in Ukraine.
The Foundation brought together humanitarian demining specialists, human rights defenders, civil society activists, and volunteers with a shared mission — to reduce the risks posed by mines and explosive remnants of war and to help restore safe living, working, and development conditions for local communities.

The purpose of the fund
The Foundation's activities cover a wide range of tasks in the field of humanitarian demining, organization of surveys of territories and prevention of risks for the local population.
The Foundation's goal is to improve safety and provide support to local communities and residents in order to restore the previous functionality of the cleared areas.
Development of the fund
In addition to humanitarian demining, the Foundation's specialists are developing an experimental direction, working together with research institutes and individual specialists in geophysics, agronomy, digital technologies, and working closely with military engineers and pyrotechnics, using the potential available to address mine risk issues.
